BulkText, our messaging and customer-relationship platform (the “Service”). It covers people who hold a BulkText account
(“Customers”) and the people Customers contact through the Service (“Contacts”).
1. Information we collect
- Account information: name, email address, password (stored hashed), workspace and team details.
- Customer content: contacts, phone numbers, email addresses, messages, forms, documents, invoices,
appointments and other data Customers upload to or create in the Service. - Message data: the content, time, sender, recipient and delivery status of text messages, iMessages and
emails sent or received through the Service, including replies and opt-out requests (such as STOP). - Connected accounts: when a Customer connects a third-party account (for example Google, Stripe,
QuickBooks or WooCommerce), we receive the access and data that account grants, used only to provide the connected
feature. - Payment information: payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers.
- Usage and device data: log data, IP address, browser type and pages viewed, used to run and secure the
Service.
2. How we use information
- To provide, operate and maintain the Service, including sending and receiving messages on a Customer’s behalf.
- To honor consent and opt-out choices, including suppressing messages to Contacts who opt out.
- To process payments, send account and service notices, and provide support.
- To secure the Service, prevent fraud and abuse, and comply with law.
- To improve the Service. We do not sell personal information.
3. Mobile information and SMS
No mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Text
messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties, except service providers that deliver
the messages on our behalf. Contacts can reply STOP to any text message to opt out and HELP for help. Message and data
rates may apply.
4. How we share information
- Service providers that host, deliver messages, process payments or support the Service, bound to use
the information only to provide services to us. - Connected services a Customer chooses to connect, as directed by that Customer.
- Legal and safety reasons: to comply with law or legal process, or to protect rights, property and
safety. - Business transfers: in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.
5. Customer content and Contacts
Customers decide what Contact data they upload and whom they message, and they are responsible for having the consent
the law requires. We process Contact data on the Customer’s behalf. Contacts who want their data accessed, corrected or
deleted should contact the Customer that messaged them; we will help the Customer respond.
6. Data retention
We keep information while an account is active and as needed to provide the Service, meet legal obligations, resolve
disputes and enforce agreements. Opt-out records are kept so that opt-outs keep being honored.
7. Security
We use administrative, technical and physical safeguards, including encryption in transit and encrypted storage of
connected-account credentials. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
8. Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal

9. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 where that is the local threshold), and we do not
knowingly collect their personal information.
